Noémie Goudal’s practice occupies the vital space between geography, geology, and climate history. Working predominantly with large-format analog photography and site-specific installations, she constructs layered photographic backdrops within natural landscapes. Her work questions the concept of landscape as a human construct, revealing the fragile boundaries between reality, artificial staging, and the Earth's deep geomorphic transformations.

The *Post-Atlantica* series explores paleoclimatology and the shifting nature of the Earth's ecosystems over millions of years. By inserting large-scale printed backdrops into dense jungles and rocky terrains—and sometimes documenting their deliberate disintegration or burning—the series visualizes the fragmentation of geological eras and the illusions of climate stability.
